Because kids show no mercy.
Is it hard to walk in the sand while carrying a one-year-old while trying to get sand out of his ear put there by his older brother? You may not have enough information to answer that right this minute, but I think, perhaps, you will know by the end of the end of the summer.
I'm not sure if he has sand in his ear yet, but there are five days left before we head back home. I'll turn him upside down and shake him like a bottle of ketchup before we leave, just to be sure.
And it's hard to walk in the sand carrying a one-year old when you have to pee and you're suspicious that the neckline/top of your swim suit it slipping down (that one-year old is yanking at it, darn it).
Your comments are valued almost as much as naptime. Thank you.
