I worked with a lady who said she let her daughter run around in those drawstring nightgowns until they reached her waist. I'm guessing that she quit tying the drawstring.
Of course, with boys we have to be careful, lest some busybody report us to 1-800-BAD-MOM.
haha i stopped buying nice clothes for j about that age too. he wears through the knees in a pair of jeans in 3 weeks, no matter what brand. right now he likes to wear only black and refuses to wear shorts even though it's the middle of summer here.
